We tested it!

Still on dnp Supernova, the ATD team has put the screen to test! Together with an Epson EMP-8300, we brought the 90-inch supernova out to the hot sun.
By placing a white screen on half of the screen as comparison, the result was outstanding.
The clarity of the image projected was something we ought to rave about.

Many witnessed the amazing demonstration and mind you, some were dumbfounded.
Have a piece for yourself! If you are planning for an outdoor event or supplying for one, contact us and we will be glad to help out. Do bear in mind that the Supernova not only works outdoor, it works perfectly as well under ambient light. That is the wonder.

Polycom – Mediasite System Integrator Workshop
|

Esco Audio Visual kicked start 2006 with a Polycom - Mediasite System Integrator Workshop. Dealers from the audiovisual industry, IT industry and many system integrators attended the workshop, which was held in Polycom Solutions, Hong Leong Building.
There were two sessions in the workshop – morning and afternoon. |
|
|
| |
Polycom presenters Angeline Tan, Lim WeiMin, and Tina Pang, covered an extensive, 2 hours seminar where they talked on the importance of video conferencing in today’s business world. Julian Lefebvre from Sonic Foundry, traveled from New Zealand to proudly introduce Mediasite, as a rich media content management system.
“We can’t deny that disasters are not happening around the world. We don’t ask which country has bird flu, we ask, which country does not have bird flu. Epidemics are happening, but business has to continue” Angeline Tan started off her seminar with clippings from Straits Times as references.
Polycom then stepped in to refreshes the audience that nothing is impossible with Polycom’s VSX technology. A range of the products allows people from around the world to connect and communicate, safely in their home or office. The VSX signature attributes were delivered and Roland from Polycom stepped in to give a lecture on the reseller certification program.
Julian then takes over the show with his Mediasite system, which allows user to record, publish and manage with a click of a button. This system has the ability to integrate with Polycom, whereby it automatically records the video conferencing session when it starts. The ability to share the content makes the system a beauty to have. Invitations to watch the missed conferences, seminars, and lectures can be done either via emails, websites or insert the link in any medium before distributing.

Health Clubs |
|
| |
Imagine visiting retail or even on the street, huge screens are seen at every corner to simply bring the room to life. No longer are we being bombarded with lifeless life size images where all they do is, being decorative. Consumers needs more, they want more out of the places they visit.
Health clubs these days are seen as one of the “cool” place to be, and for others a place to exercise. Even a conventional gym knows they needed something more to lure people to their gym. Different works out classes are being introduced while some opt for a full leisure cum gym outlets. Now what does a screen has got to do with health clubs?
Ever been to one, or should it be many gyms where you are being accompanied by boring black box television that plays nothing more exciting than the daily soap opera. With the fuzzy quality and viewing from 10meters away while running, you began to realize your eyes are straining
Things have since changed when screens technology is allowing various projections come to play. Gym lightings has to be very bright, thus at a certain degree it affects the projection quality. Projection Screen Technology has taken major leaps over the year, and now low cost projectors can be used to deliver bright crisp images.
New Zealand gyms have already put such technology into practice. Two Auckland gyms installed 3m, 2.5m and 1.45m wide Digital Daytime screens in their cycle cinema while Wellington outlets installed a 3m wide screen*. On screen entertainment is enough to bring clients running kilometer after kilometer on the treadmills by showing pumping video clips.
Singapore health clubs are booming. Together with the response they are generating, maybe the latest technology in the market might just heighten the benchmark of competition.
Asia Tech Distribution supplies immaculate projection screens. Contact us and explore yourself, how such projection can do wonders for you.
