●   Polyvision's "Interactive Teaching Made Easier" Showcase

  29 September 2006 | Friday | 2pm

As a part of the marketing program, we were proud to once again brought a showcase to the educational sector. Exclusively from Polyvision, we brought Walk and Talk Interactive Board, Walk and Talk Flatscreen Module and the Room Scheduling System, Room Wizard. The showcase was held at Imagination Room, National Library Board on 29 September 2006.

Attendees from fellow dealers, schools and government bodies dropped by for a product walk-through, and a short presentation by Tim Taylor, Polyvision. Everybody had a chance to doodle on the Walk and Talk boards. Many were amazed by how we can draw, write and control the computer system without the hassle of returning to the laptop/computer physically.

The showcase has enlightened many people from the education industry, whether for a young age kindergarten or high syllabus universities.

The boards not only benefits the education sector, but also the corporates. Meeting rooms and conference rooms will be complete with this visionary boards, where you can present your presentations with style. There is no need to mess around with the computer once you have set-up and amaze your clients with the new technology in white boards.

We liked to thank you for those who turned up at our show, and Polyvision is very glad you can take time off to participate. In the future, allow us to show more of the latest technology to you.

dnp denmark will be exhibiting at CEDIA 2006 in Denver, Colorado. At this years show two versions of the award-winning optical front projection screen, Supernova, will be presented:

dnp Supernova Screen (fixed version) delivers an extraordinary ten times higher contrast and two times brighter images than standard front screens. This opens up vast new opportunities for display solutions in brightly lit environments and home entertainment applications.

The Supernova Screen allows the viewer to achieve maximum effect in a brightly lit, ergonomically designed environment. And the home enthusiast is no longer restricted to the confinements of dark rooms in the basement.

dnp Supernova Flex Screen is a retractable version of the Supernova Screen. It is based on the groundbreaking optical Supernova technology that has won prestigious technology awards and was honored at both CES 2006 and InfoComm 2005 and 2006.

Suspended by thin wires, the Supernova Flex Screen blends perfectly into any living room environment. When not in use, a fast motor with low noise level retracts the screen into a stylish wall mounted enclosure.

Prior to implementing Mediasite, Hallmark’s Media Production team was looking for a more efficient way to capture and share corporate meetings, training sessions and retailer announcements with its various stakeholders. With Mediasite, the company can streamline the process and have a more efficient way to share information with retailers and employees around the world, anywhere, anytime.

With each event captured, Hallmark has seen an increase in audience attendance and the amount of time individuals spend watching each presentation. The feedback from employees has been positive, vastly improving the company’s ability to communicate vital company information to their coworkers and retailers.

   AUGUST 2006

●   PolyVision Receives Coveted GREENGUARD™ Children and Schools™ Certification for Marker and Tack Boards
Certified products offer a healthier option for children in schools and daycare facilities

  14 August 2006 | Monday

Children are more susceptible to exposure of environmental toxins because they consume more food and water and have higher inhalation rates per pound of body weight than adults. Recent research by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) indicates that inhalation is a significant route of exposure to chemicals that are associated with endocrine disorders, reproductive and developmental toxicity, asthma, and allergies. Due to these factors, the GEI has established strict controls to define low-emitting materials specifically for educational and learning/play environments for young children.

“PolyVision is extremely pleased to be the first and only manufacturer in the industry to become GREENGUARD Children and Schools Certified,” said Mike Dunn, President and CEO of PolyVision. “In this day and age we understand so much more about all the characteristics that go into leading a healthy lifestyle. It’s no longer just an added bonus to incorporate healthy products into environments where children spend 8 - 12 hours of their day – it’s a necessity. Given a choice, why wouldn’t facilities choose products that are best for the health of kids?”

  JULY 2006

●   dnp Supernova Comparison Showcase

  20 July 2006 | Thursday | 2pm

dnp Supernova is the best front projection screen under high ambient light
to provide viewers the best viewing experience, without tiring the eyes and
concentration. The Supernova is the only screen that allows high contrast
video images under a bright light condition. One special attribute about the
Supernova is the screen not only works well under bright light, the video image is as good under ambient light as well. You will gain a high contrast and crisp image under both light, making Supernova the perfect screen for all application.

Supernova was not the only screen that was displayed. We featured another two spectacular screens for participants viewing. As the Supernova is a front projection screen, we exhibited two rear projection screens, the dnp AttentionScreen and the dnp HoloScreen. Many viewers were amazed by the picture quality! Some felt the screen to check if there were any gimmicks! It was pure dnp technological effort that we are able to experience screens from different angle of projections.
